( IT’S A HARD LIFE )

Charlotte and Martin welcome you to the Lambrigg website, and hope you enjoy looking around. We have been breeding appaloosas here since 1993 - our horses are an integral part of our 400 acre stock rearing farm, situated in the picturesque English Lake District.

We specialise in producing a show quality sportshorse type suitable for any of the 3 main disciplines. Lambrigg bred horses are proven performers with several currently eventing, not forgetting our numerous show champions and those who have gone on to become genuine and valued all round family mounts for their owners.

There are three resident stallions here. Our two senior stallions Dollar Boy and Exbury Eclipse are both fully registered, licensed, BApS graded and approved sires, and our young homebred stallion Lambrigg Solaris who is also BApS registered and licensed.

We have appaloosa foals for sale much of the time, and welcome enquiries.

LAMBRIGG SPOTLIGHT

Pictured  here in March 2009 competing in freestyle dressage at the PONIES(UK) WINTER CHAMPIONSHIPS, where he went on to be placed in the ribbons. For more details see our news page and also Spotlight’s own section on our ’show and competition horses’ page.

LAMBRIGG SMARTIEPANTS

How lovely to hear of our foals going on to be successful competition horses. Smartie was the first foal from Diamond of Lambrigg, foaled in 1999, and just look at him now - partnered with his teenage rider Rosie Chinery ( for whom he was a twelfth birthday present as a 3yo ) he has hunted, has many BSJA wins, and is an eventer competing at NOVICE BE with 16 points. Smartie is now teamed with his second teenage rider and they have already achieved several double clears jumping. He is very much what we aim to breed, a genuine allround quality sports horse. LAMBRIGG VALENTINE

Owned by Gladys Jordan

Valentine is making us proud ! He only needs one more clear to qualify for novice 3 day eventing, he has won his last few pre-novice events and also won his last elementary dressage too.

WELL DONE !
