LAMBRIGG STARBUCK.

2008 gelding By Eclipse ex Keshena Starburst.

 Registered British Appaloosa, main register.

Buck is full brother to our young homebred stallion LAMBRIGG SOLARIS ( see Solaris’s page for full details ). He is a lovely youngster in every way, well put together, very nice movement and with a friendly relaxed disposition. He learns quickly and is keen to please, making him a pleasure to handle.

Lovely cream buckskin with white and dark spots over his quarters, Buck is an eye-catching lad who is expected to make around 16hh at maturity.

His breeding shows an emphasis on performance, show jumping in particular, some of the notable names in his pedigree are as follows:

RODEGA TOBIAS- Grade B show jumper

SUTTERS SHOWBOAT - Grade A international show jumper.

FIRST DRAFT - one of the most successful and influential appaloosa performance stallions of all time, sire of show jumpers, eventers ( notably his grandson the international 3 day eventer CENTAUR JOLLY JACK ) and many winning show horses including our homebred National winning champion foal LAMBRIGG PRIMAVERA who remained unbeaten in the showring throughout her first season.

BLYTHWIND BLUEJET - prolific show winner, including British National Champion.

Starbuck’s dam, STARBURST, as well as being a winner in hand herself as a youngster, is a half sister to the successful event horse LAMBRIGG VALENTINE.

£2200.

LAMBRIGG MOZAMBIQUE

APPALOOSA SPORTHORSE COLT FOAL

Sired by Eclipse ex Rowberton Messalina. Foaled 21/4/10. Mozambique is an athletic foal who will be well suited to a competitive career. He moves very well and really eats up the ground with his generous stride. He is also conformationally very correct with a beautiful head, and would make a nice show horse. His temperament is lovely, he’s very people friendly and confident.  To make 16hh

Messalina’s 2006 foal LAMBRIGG FINBAR is now working well on the flat and over jumps and ultimately may well be aimed at a career in dressage as he certainly displays the necessary natural balance and extension even as a 4yo.

Eclipse of course has progeny successful in various disciplines, particularly showing, but most recently his yearling colt LAMBRIGG CAPPUCCINO gained a BEF eventing first premium.

Mozambique will be registered with BApS in the main register.

SOLD - (Deposit received) to a dressage home.
