Bruno is our young homebred stallion and we have high hopes for this chap, he is already a show winner in yearling classes and we plan to show him in hand again in 2009. He will be started under saddle at the end of 2009 and hopefully be shown in riding horse classes for a season or two before commencing his career as a show jumper.
Bruno is of superb athletic type, to mature around 16hh with a quality head, an excellent length of rein, sloping shoulder, powerful hindquarters and off the floor movement with paces second to none. All this coupled with his striking colour make for a very pleasing picture of a young stallion.
His breeding shows an emphasis on performance, show jumping in particular, some of the notable names in his pedigree are as follows:
RODEGA TOBIAS- Grade B show jumper
SUTTERS SHOWBOAT - Grade A international show jumper.
FIRST DRAFT - one of the most successful and influential appaloosa performance stallions of all time, sire of show jumpers, eventers ( notably his grandson the international 3 day eventer JOLLY JACK ) and many winning show horses including our homebred National winning champion foal LAMBRIGG PRIMAVERA who remained unbeaten in the showring throughout her first season.

Bruno’s dam, STARBURST, as well as being a winner in hand herself as a youngster, is a half sister to the successful event horse LAMBRIGG VALENTINE.
